Broadband
As the final step of our Broadband Program, AITRC is providing internet subsidies to Ahtna Citizen's households within the 8 Ahtna villages. Awards will be based on a survey used to understand internet access of Ahtna Tribal Citizens and to determine need-based internet cost share. Your name will be removed from the survey you provide before being pooled for review and selection. We will be working with the councils to determine award recipients. Information will be kept confidential and used for Tribal planning and internet cost-share programs to support Ahtna Tribal Citizens.
Criteria.
For will be considered using the following criteria:

​​Applications must be submitted by March 9th​

Applications are limited to one per household.

Applicant's household must have at least one Tribal Citizen ​

Chosen applicants will be limited to 10 per village (Cantwell, Mentasta, Cheesh'na Tribe, Gakona, Gulkana, Tazlina, Kluti-Kaah, and Chitina)
Internet Subsidy.
AITRC will cover a monthly subsidy for each participating household's internet bill. Applicants must

Have internet service with Copper Valley Telcom and MTA , as well as being located in the Ahtna Region

AITRC covers all but $20 per month of the total service cost

The remaining balance must be paid directly to the service provider
